I am so glad I signed up for the Fat Quarter Shops 2010 Designer Mystery BOM. We are in month 8 and it has been so much fun. I did the FQS 2009 Designer Mystery and fell in love with the ease of their BOM and just couldn't resist doing another one. We are making blocks designed by a different designer each month and using Kate Spain's 12 Days of Christmas. I think the wreath is my favorite so far and think it would make a great pillow as a gift for next year so this will be one pattern I'll be going back to and what a cute little house we got to make this month.

ReplyDeleteI love these blocks! I can't wait to see how it finishes.
ReplyDeleteHi, Nancy,
ReplyDeleteI was surprised to read your comment, on A Bruxa Kitess. I supposed this happened because I was probably using this account when visiting your blog. I was surprised that you´d read the whole thing.
I have two other blogs about quilting, one in Portuguese and the other in English. I´ll be following you signing as Beatriz - A Junior Quilter´s World.
Thanks for having come to the Witch´s observation tree in the Enchanted Forest, from where she watches the weird world.
I´m ready to follow you now. Lovely blocks, but I´d vote for the house!
ReplyDeleteThanks Val
ReplyDeleteYvette, I think that's what I like best about the BOM is you never know what's coming next.
ReplyDelete@Beatriz
ReplyDeleteBeatriz: I follow the Quilter Blog and your site came up under there. I thought his was a heart warming story and reminded me of the dog sitting by her owner's grave in Brazil after the flooding last week.
@Bia, from Brazil
ReplyDeleteBia, I loved making the house also and can't wait to see what we make next month. It started out with some pretty small pieces but all come together pretty easily.
